Have a Night Out on the Town!
Local Stores and restaurants along with our exclusive Sponsor Berkshire Hathaway, New England Properties are getting excited to greet Strollers on Thursday August 24th. While we never “leak” out the names of the local businesses who will be on the “Map” you can be assured there will be a mix of a good mix Taste of The Town alumni and some businesses who are new to the Stroll.
This year you can earn your map by either donating to the Food Pantry or by bringing your outdated prescription eye glasses ad the Lion’s Club will be in front of the movie theater the night of the Stroll collecting! Save the Date and get your strolling shoes ready! This is a perfect event for families, date night or event a “girls night out”.
Rain date will be Friday August 25th!
Over 20 different participating stores and restaurants. A “food-raiser” for the New Canaan Food Pantry, the Taste of the Town Stroll will collect donations for the Pantry (donations can be dropped off at the Stroll, not before!) in exchange for a chance to win fabulous prizes after visiting at least 12 of the stores on the map! Festive activities and culinary delights will be available at each of the participating venues throughout downtown New Canaan, promising to entertain local residents and guests who come to New Canaan to shop, dine and see old friends.
Over $7,000 worth of prizes will be given out on the night of the Stroll to participants who complete the Challenge!
