Now in its 44th year, this exhibit celebrates the range, interests, and talents of over 150 artist members working across all subjects, styles, and media. Presented in the gallery and virtually from September 18 – October 22.
Five exhibiting artists will be selected to show a collection of work in a group show at the Jean Jacobs Gallery in downtown New Canaan. Presented in partnership with the Carriage Barn Arts Center, this special exhibit will run for 2-3 weeks in June 2022 and coincide with our annual “Art in the Windows” exhibit. Selected artists will be announced at the opening.
One piece will be awarded the Betty Barker Award and a $250 prize. The award was established in 2017 in honor of Betty Barker (1920-1997), a prolific and accomplished artist who was the driving force in establishing the Carriage Barn Arts Center. Past recipients include Eric Chiang, Hans Fischer, Nancy Woodward, Jennifer Glover Riggs.
