We will share highlights from the last year, look ahead to exciting news for this year, and honor local nature hero and longtime friend of the Nature Center, Nina Miller, by presenting her with the David M. Sinclair Volunteerism Award. It will be a fun, casual evening with hors d’oeuvres and drinks. We’ll gather outside (weather permitting) by the pergola and enjoy the ambiance of the campfire.
The David M. Sinclair Volunteerism Award was created to honor those who have dedicated a lifetime to the preservation and understanding of the natural world and its inhabitants. This award is given to an individual in the Darien community who embodies the volunteer spirit and commitment to the land, air, and waterways that Dave Sinclair has shown over his 25+ years of service to the Darien Nature Center as a volunteer member of the Board of Directors.
