Nineteen area artists will be showcased in Wilton Library’s January exhibition, “Artists of the Loft Artists Association.” The Loft Artists Association (LAA) is a vibrant community of established and emerging artists in Stamford that began in 1978 as the vision of three local artists who moved into the vacant Yale and Towne Lock Factory building to work and live. The LAA’s mission is to provide artists with a supportive environment, exhibition, and networking opportunities, and to reach out to the community at large with education and artistic expression. The Loft Artists Studios and Galleries, located in Stamford’s South End, features 14 artist studios and over 1,200 square feet of exhibit space.
