VOICES: I REMEMBER
Group Show Curated by Bibiana Huang Matheis

At the Hammond Museum, as we remember the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the 19th amendment (providing for women’s suffrage), we have invited 8 women artists with distinctive voices who work with their emotional memory to exhibit. Join us as we see them transcend the personal into the universal.

BROAD POWERS
Group Show Curated by Bibiana Huang Matheis

In the fall of 2017, three Westchester artists formed a collective called “In_Question.” Since then, these women — Marcy B. Freedman, Carla Rae Johnson, and Mary McFerran – have presented collaborative art projects that address social, political, and environmental issues.

For the Hays Gallery at the Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden, the members of the group have created “BROAD POWERS” comprised of three distinct installations to honor women – past and present.
