A note about the October artists:
Sholeh Janati
Sholeh Janati is a New York-based artist who grew up in Tehran, Iran where she studied with the masters. Since relocating to the US, her bold and vibrant paintings have grown in prominence and her collections featuring nudes, landscapes, portraits and abstract pieces have earned her praise from a variety of American and European critics. Professional collectors and corporations alike are drawn to Sholeh’s passionate, creative paintings. These works provide a constant interaction with the viewer, allowing them to discover new dynamics and dimensions in each piece. In this sense, the viewer finds each of Sholeh’s paintings as an expression of their own artistic vision.
“My life’s journey is fully reflected within my art. My body of work is an expression of turning the bitter into the sweet, ugliness to beauty, darkness to color, fear to courage, oppression to independence. I live every day as the gift it is.” – Sholeh Janati
Her most recent works have been purchased by or featured at the USTA Presidential Suite at the 2016 US Open, Yale New Haven Medical Center’s Permanent Collection, Chatauqua Institution, Waterbury Hospital’s VIP Ward, HGTV’s “Million-Dollar Listing” and Sacred Heart University. Sholeh’s works are currently on display in galleries in Boston, Greenwich and Charleston. She is also displaying her work at the prestigious 59th International Biennale Arte 2022 in Venice.
Sholeh has a studio in Westport, Connecticut. She is also available on a limited basis for commissioned works for private collectors, corporate collections and interior designers.

In 2019, Al had his first solo exhibition at the MAD LAB in Norwalk, CT, where he was a resident Creative.
Al’s work has been showcased at Rene Soto Gallery in Norwalk, as well as featured in festivals such as the Norwalk Arts Fest and The Art ManiFESTation. He is currently a resident artist at the Art Lounge by Prism Nightlife. Al’s longstanding apparel brand, ODDNUMB3R, features t-shirts, hats, and one-of-a-kind hand-stitched garments.
