Free and open to the public, Open Studios is a hallmark event of the Loft Artists Association. For many years, the organization has opened its doors for a full weekend in November. Studio artists are in their studios with completed and in-process work on display for people to see and inquire about. Non-studio artists exhibit their work in the two gallery spaces and are also available to engage with the public about their work and process. Artwork is available for purchase in all spaces.
Fourteen professional artist’s studios will be open and displaying completed and “in process” artwork. Artists will act as hosts in their studios, engaging people in conversation and answering questions about their work and process. Along with the studios, both galleries will be full of work by additional member artists. These artists will also be hosting and sharing their art and experiences. This is an event for everyone!
