“Remedy” explores the many ways humankind attempts to ameliorate society’s modern ailments (mental, physical, and beyond) through art. Working across media, the contributing artists engage with the tools, institutions, and methods of healing, as well as the role artists and art can play in the process of healing.
Artists from “Remedy” share insights about their work and process before we make one final toast to the exhibition. Join the artists of REMEDY as they discuss their work and how art has become an essential component of the healing process in our modern medical society. Following the talk, the audience is encouraged to stay and meet the show’s artists as we celebrate the show with a closing reception. Food and New York State beverages will be provided at the reception.
