Our Artist in Residence, Rosa E. Colón, will be displaying “Nature’s Beauty”, a body of work in which floral-themed portrayals blossom with the passion and praise of nature as connoted by her familial roots of Colombia, national origin and her inextricable linkage to and engagement with her natural surroundings. Rosa’s skill captures significant moments inspired by her fascination with nature’s multifarious forms, labyrinthine shapes and vibrant colors. Her medium of choice primarily features oils and embodies a multihued, hyper-realist style that emphasizes her character and personality. In the cold of winter, come to The Fez for a fresh view of color and light.
