Join us for the opening of the library’s winter art exhibit, Symphony of Colors, as we kick off Black History Month.

Symphony of Colors at Ferguson Library

Author Kelly Walters will read excerpts from her book Black, Brown + Latinx Design Educators: Conversations on Design and Race during the reception. In her book, she explores questions about the experiences of Black, Brown, and Latinx graphic design educators in college classrooms today as well as how racial identity influences design professionals of color.

The juried show, curated by Isabella Montenegro and sponsored by the Stamford Art Association, focuses on harmony, and features works by local and regional artists of color.

The exhibit will be on display through March 21.
