A photographic exhibit by Stamford photographers Phyllis Sinrich and Deborah Loeb Bohren takes viewers on a visual journey around the globe.
Between them, Sinrich and Bohren have traveled to six continents and almost 100 countries… from the shores of Cuba to the lavender fields of Provence…from the monoliths of Easter Island to the sheltered kingdom of Bhutan…and lots of tiny island nations.

For this exhibit Sinrich focused on immersing herself in the spirit and diversity of individual cultures. “These images are like mini-stories about indigenous people, their lives and interests, their architecture and their history. I hope they evoke a deeper understanding of the great world we all share,” Sinrich said.

Bohren’s images capture the intersection and interplay of color, light and line of everyday things to tell a story of what has been, what is, or what will-or can-be. “Beyond bridging time and space, I hope my images spark individual memories and universal emotions for those who see them,” said Bohren.
