Pop into a special winter Pop Up exhibition by the Westport Artists’ Collective on Thursday, January 12 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The Pop Up is free and open to the public, and will be on view through Saturday, January 14.
The festive Pop Up shows typically draw crowds of over 300 people and are a lively celebration of creativity and originality. Guests can enjoy wine and a delicious variety of appetizers, meet the artists, and purchase the showcased works of art.
With all proceeds going directly to the artists, the event is a great opportunity to support the arts on a local level.
The exhibition includes a diverse range of fifteen artists from the Westport Artists’ Collective, selected by the artists showcased at the Fall 2016 Pop Up exhibition.
Selected artists include Binnie Birstein, Alanna Fagan, Hernan Garcia, Ira Ginsburg, Mary Harold, Lucy M. Krupenye, Phyllis Lee, Mary Ann Neilson, Steve Parton, Lisa Silberman, Bronislava Slagle, Malu Tan, Karen Vogel, Cindy Wagner, and Cynthia Whalen.
Several of the artists will participate in an Artist Talk on Friday, January 13 at 10am. Join us to learn more about their influences, techniques, and art!
